Bioshock 2 Delayed, To Make It Better?

Bioshock 2 Delayed – Sad news if you like Bioshock, but not enough to realize the game stands up just fine as one, sequel-less experience: Bioshock 2 will be delayed until fiscal year 2010. Publisher Take-Two’s official line says the delay will provide “additional development time.” Baloney. In my 20 years of obsessing over video games, I’ve never known a publisher to delay a game past the lucrative holiday season solely because of quality concerns. Something’s afoot here, whether it’s fear of economics in this year’s holiday or desire to stand alone after all the other big-budget titles have competed for Christmas money.
