Bing 2 Bing Gaining on Yahoo, Still far from Google

After bombarding our LCDs with a series of increasingly-annoying commercials that seem to be on during every single show that I watch, Microsoft Bing has made a slow, steady move into the search-engine market share. In June, Bing received 8.4 percent of US searches, up from 8 percent the month before, according to data from Comscore. Not surprisingly, Bing’s gains came at Yahoo’s expense; Yahoo’s share dropped from 20.1 percent to 19.6. Analysts stress that it’s still too early to properly gauge Bing’s potential impact on the marketplace and the .4% gain really doesn’t offer much insight one way or the other, so we’ll open it up to you: have you switched over regularly or occasionally to Bing? If you don’t like what Google has to say, do you Bing it? [via Yahoo Tech]
