Bad News For Boob Fans: Apple Pulling Explicit Apps
By Chris Weiss
Those iPhone users that enjoy a little late-afternoon boob jiggle or a quick fix of sexy, scantily clad models are in for a rude awakening. Apple has gotten all uptight and prude on us and is currently going through the App Store vanquishing all sexually explicit content. The company explained in a statement: “If we find these apps contain inappropriate material, we remove them and request the developer make any necessary changes in order to be distributed by Apple.” Apple cited customer complaints as motivating its policy change.
So it looks like you’ll have to wait until you make it home to your computer to get your daily serving of flesh.
Meanwhile, some are offended about Apple’s totalitarian wielding of censorship. Since the App Store is the sole source for outfitting your iPhone, Apple is essentially saying that sexually related content has no place on it, making the decision for the consumer. Obviously, some don’t like that much. [via Ars Technica]

Hmmm, I'm with those that are up in arms over the censorship. Whilst it's not a set of App's I'd personally ever download, quite who are Apple to put the brakes on? It just needs to ensure such App's have an appropriate Content Warning and leave be. Grrr.
