VZ vs ATT 3G coverage AT&T and Verizon Drop Lawsuit

It’s still three weeks out from Christmas and already we have that warm and fuzzy feeling deep in the tummy. After an ongoing legal and ad battle, AT&T and Verizon have decided to drop the legal and stick to battling it out on our TV screens the way they should have been doing all along.

After AT&T failed to get the court to force Verizon to pull ads that contain the 3G map comparisons, it seems the company decided there wasn’t much sense carrying on with an ongoing suit. Both companies have agreed to dismiss the suit.

Hopefully, they can all sit down ’round the fire and enjoy a nice cup of eggnog while gabbing about how uber-hunky Luke Wilson is. And perhaps they can get a good, hearty chuckle about Santa getting in on the fun. [via NY Times]
