Apple Shows Off Gaming Functionality of iPod Touch – At the “It’s Only Rock and Roll” even in San Francisco, Apple showed off the gaming prowess of its iPod Touch.  Compared to the handheld consoles like the Sony PSP Go and the Nintendo DSi, the Apple iPod Touch has a far greater number of entertainment and gaming titles available– and much cheaper to boot.  To show off some of the greatest up-and-coming titles for the iPod Touch, Apple brought in developers from Ubisoft, EA and others to show their wares.  A new version of Assassin’s Creed was shown off, as was Madden NFL 2010, Riddim Ribbon and Nova, a Halo-style FPS.  See the full gallery after the break.
