So Apple finally filled in the piece of the puzzle that we’ve all been waiting for, and it’s looking a little better than rumors previously indicated. Pricing for the device is as follows: $499 for the $16 GB version, $599 for the 32GB and $699 for the 64GB model. Models equipped with 3G will be priced $629, $729 and $829.

The iPad will start shipping in 60 days. The 3G version will ship in 90 days.

As far as the 3G models go, Apple announced a deal with AT&T. Prices start at $14.99/month, which buys you 250 MB of data. Unlimited data is also available and will run $29.99/month. The packages are prepaid so there’s no contract and you’re free to cancel at anytime. You’ll also get free access to AT&T’s Wi Fi hotspots. The 3G models are unlocked.

So the pricing comes in well under the $1,000 that we’ve been hearing over and over again, making the iPad that much more desirable. [via Engadget]
