Apple Black Friday 2009 Sale Confirmed

There wasn’t much question that Apple would join nearly every other retailer around in holding a Black Friday sale. Not in this economy, at least. Indeed, Apple has begun emailing international customers a little Black Friday invitation of sorts. Unfortunately, the invite remains mum on exactly what types of deals and prices can be had, but it does offer “You’ll find lots of great iPod, iPhone and Mac gift ideas — all with free shipping.”

It’s likely that Apple will offer deals at its retail locations, as it’s done in the past, but the invitation speaks specifically about the Apple Online Store–so if you can hardly move after devouring both drumsticks of your 25-lb. turkey, you can enjoy savings from the comfort of your own toilet. As you can see, Apple encourages you to mark your calendar–just in case you were likely to completely forget about the biggest shopping day of the year.
