Android Gingerbread Coming Next Week?

In another indication that Samsung’s event next week will indeed be the Nexus Two, a rumor out of IntoMobile today indicates that next Thursday the 11th will mark the launch of Google’s Android Ginbread (2.3) SDK. The Nexus Two will undoubtedly sport the latest iteration of Android, so the timing seems perfect for everyone.
Samsung announced an event in New York City on November 8 last month and rumors suggested that the event will be used to launch the Nexus One’s successor, based on Android Gingerbread. Little has been detailed on what Nexus Two will feature outside of the latest Android, but I suppose we’ll likely find out after (or maybe during) the weekend. [via IntoMobile]
