Android 2.2 Is Much Faster Than Previous AndroidsBy Chris Weiss
A report today over on AndroidPolice indicates that future Android 2.2 users have a lot to be excited about. According to the blog’s testing, 2.2, codenamed Froyo, is 450 percent faster than Android 2.1. Yeah, we’re pretty impressed too.
AndroidPolice took about a week to test the new OS iteration on a Nexus One and had nothing but praise. Froyo runs Flash 10.1 and according to the blog it does it well.
We won’t steal anymore of AP’s steam; you can read the full details of their review here. Suffice it to say that when Google unveils Android 2.2, those with compatible phones will be in for a treat. [via AndroidPolice]
