Adobe Releases Photoshop Mobile for iPhone

Those who have been seeking new ways to edit pictures directly on their iPhone prior to uploading them to various websites will be happy to note that Adobe has released Photoshop.com Mobile for iPhone. The new app will offer iPhone and iPod Touch users all kinds of gesture-based editing tools–from the basic flip, rotate and crop to more subtle image editing such as tint control and filters and effects. Now those poor-quality iPhone-snapped images can look that much more like real photography. And the Photoshop app is available now for free at the App Store, so you’ve got nothing to lose.
Some more advanced features available with the mobile version of Photoshop include effects like Warm Vintage, Vignette and Pop, as well as Soft Focus, which introduces a “subtle blur for artistic effect”. Another cool feature is the Sketch tool, which transforms a regular picture into a sketch-like image. Changes can be easily applied, unapplied and reapplied so the user is free to experiment and find the perfect combination of effects.
As far as storage, Adobe offers the ability to easily upload and access photos at Photoshop.com and provides users with 2GB of free storage–about 1,500 photos worth of space.
Unfortunately for international iPhone enthusiasts, the download is currently available to U.S. and Canada users only. [via Crunch Gear]
