Was Wednesday’s $150 Zune player too rich for your blood? There are cheaper options, you know, like Memorex’s 4 GB MP3, video and audio player, selling new from Woot for $30 plus $5 shipping. That’s roughly 1,000 MP3s, though the player also supports WMA, protected WMA-DRM, MPEG-4 and JPG files. A 1.5-inch OLED screen displays photo and video, and a built-in lithium polymer battery holds a charge for roughly 20 hours of audio or two hours of video playback. For the audiophiles, there’s a five-band equalizer. And with dimensions of just 3.1 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches, it’s good to go at the gym. As is the custom, I’ll compare to Amazon for you: $75 regularly.
